How do I share electronics components, apps and AI skills with my team?
Use the Adom Wiki to share electronics design resources and the tools that operate on them. It supports hardware pages, apps, AI skills and bootstrap packages that group dependencies. People can read the documentation, and agents can discover and install published packages using the CLI.
Source and releases have different jobs
A page’s repository holds its readable source, documentation and history. A package release holds the versioned artifact that installation consumes. Updating source does not automatically publish a release, and publishing a release does not automatically update the page’s source files.
The wiki publishing guide explains both paths. Use adom-wiki repo push <owner>/<slug> for source and adom-wiki pkg publish from a correctly prepared package directory for a release.
Make a useful team handoff
Include the supported operating systems and CAD versions, dependencies, a worked example and a verification step. For component data, include the manufacturer part number, package variant and asset provenance. For skills, explain the task and the tools the agent needs.
Choose the page’s visibility explicitly and verify it with the intended audience. Repository access and package access can differ; do not assume that restricting source also restricts an artifact already published publicly. The CLI documentation is the reference for available controls.
Have a teammate try the instructions in a clean workspace before adopting the package across the team.
